Brief Biography

Katarina obtained her Master’s degree in general psychology at Charles University in Prague. She continued her education and obtained a license in Clinical Psychology from the Institute for Postgraduate Education in Health Care Prague. She also finished behavioral psychotherapy training at UCL and Middlesex School of Medicine in London. As a clinical psychologist she worked in Psychiatric Hospital Bohnice and in Psychiatric Clinic at the General University Hospital in Prague. She has also worked in Crisis Centrum RIAPS, Psychosomatic Clinic in Prague, and APLA Prague (Association in Aid for Persons with Autism). Beside providing ”services” at the City Practice, Katarina also has extensive teaching experience. In the past she taught medical psychology and psychotherapy at 1st and 3rd Faculty of Medicine Charles University and currently she teaches at the Institute for Postgraduate Education in Health Care, and Prague College of Psychosocial Studies.

Katarina specializes in working with adults using CBT to help them with personal difficulties such as anxiety disorders, depression, personality disorders, learning disability, and autism.
