Brief Biography
Lea trained at Goldsmiths, University of London for her Masters in Counselling. As part of her training she volunteered as a counsellor in primary schools through a non-profit organisation. She then moved on to working with adults in varying areas of London, where she met with clients facing stress, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, PTSD, domestic violence and self-harm. The focus of her work is to create a safe and non-judgemental space with her clients, in order to explore their issues and start reflecting on what is desired for their well-being.
Having lived in Europe, Asia and the Middle East, Lea speaks English, Russian and Serbian fluently. She continuously develops her understanding of cultural differences, as well as individual needs when moving to new environments. Another personal interest is working with people on the autistic spectrum, especially children and young adults.
